Let's Make Your Web Pressence

Web Design

I first got into branding and web design after my parents refused to hire a designer to do their site or brand. After it fell to me, I began taking on other projects. Some of them are featured her below, showcasing some of my early work, and some of my more contemporary work like the Golden Gate Market. Feel free to look around and visit the sites that catch your eye. Please also remember these sites only represent my ideals for design, their content does not necessarily reflect my religious, charitable, or other interests.

Golden Gate Market

This website was a small part of the much larger rebrand and remodel of the Golden Gate Market. This effort included an online web advertising campaign on Instagram and Google Adwords. The site receives a couple hundred views a week, ultimately designed to drive foot traffic to the physical market.

Hope Heals

Hope Heals is a homeless mission in the Walla Walla Valley, where I attended university. While working as the Marketing Coordinator for the charity arm of my university’s student association I met Annett. Annett is a trailblazer for homeless rights and efforts to help home the Walla Walla Valley’s homeless population. She was such an inspiriation that I put together hopehealsyou.com as charity project to help her process donations digitally. All content is now managed by Annett’s current intern. Nonetheless, it still showcases my design work.

Sloop & Sloop

It all began here. It took four redesigns and well over one hundred hours of work. This sounds all very dramatic, but in reality it’s just the price of learning. Today, the website is finished, and only experiences the occasional blog post for a change of scenery. But go ahead, take a look.

VERTIPIX.COM

Built by Eric Welch with collaborative effort from me, this site showcases our creative partnership that is Vertipix. Vertipix, in addition to Eric and I, also includes talent from Portugal and Wyoming, in the form of Diogo Dias and Joel Peckham respectively. All four of us went to academy together, after we joined forces to form an innovative collective under the name Vertipix. Today, Vertipix offers web, graphic, cinemagraphic and photographic expertise.

Gilmore Computer Services

This website was a redesign for Jesse Gilmore and Gilmore Computer Services. It was a built from the ground up with self-produced graphics, showcasing different design ideas for web on each page. Jesse liked each different style and refused to let me unify the site under a cohesive design language. Despite this, the website helped him earn the company one largest contracts to date. To explore more, feel free to visit.

JAKESLOOP.CO

My personal site, jakesloop.co, has been built as a CV. Built on WordPress, my strong point in web design, this site runs the Divi theme. Despite my preference for WordPress and Divi, I have lots of experience working with other CMS platforms like Squarespace, Weebly, Wix and others.
